There Needs To Be Diversity In Professions

There needs to be diversity in professions. For instance, leatherworkers make shoulderspads and amor pads, blacksmithers make weapons, etc (and elemental leatherworkers make this, tribal that, etc etc etc).

Crafted items can no longer be bound to your class. What?! Yes, i know, that's a very big step to take, but that's the only way to make sure a leatherworker will be able to sell his stuff to a blacksmith, and the other way around.

It might be that - if blizzard will ever listen to this, which they probably won't - they will also make completely different professions (because blacksmithing would be kinda stupid if it made cloth items, for instance..).
Also, another problem is that this change would be so incredibly big, there would need to be so much changing to items found, recipes, etc, it would be too large to imagine.

But we are not blizzard. We are the ones playing the game, and to the players my conclusion is short and simple: back when i started as leatherworker, i knew gatherers gain more money. Everyone said it. What i didn't realized was that because gatherers gain more money, crafters only loose money. The only thing left to do is either became a gatherer, a merchant (buying up and selling for higher) or to only sell when noone else is doing so and hoping for people that don't know the value to fall for it.
But you'll say "wait a second, there's still a good thing to being a crafter - making stuff for yourself!". Well actually, it's much cheaper to buy that stuff from other crafters than to make it for yourself.

Disclaimer: if i am missing something here, please tell me. I am only human and some of my conclusions might be wrong, simply because i don't know all the details. But do so only if you have read the whole thread.

This is my story, the story of a guy who got laughed at for putting up items for "too high prices". The story of someone who is blocked by alot of players, who gets ignored if he tries to team up by countless players now. I lost alot doing this, and i only tried to do the right thing. Thank you for your time.
